Legal Aid UK

Legal aid or legal cost quotation towards getting damages for the violation of the Malaysia Agreement, 1963.

Malaysia Agreement is an agreement signed between the governments of Malaya and UK towards the formation of a nation to be called Malaysia in 1963.

The agreement was for the protection of the residents of North Borneo and Sarawak that the government of UK represented.

The agreement was registered with the United Nations and a commissions called the Cobbold Commission was set up to facilitate the agreement.

There were many issues with the agreement with the most glaring was the lack of a true referendum, only a show of hands without actual counting of the hands. As a result, the President of Indonesia, Sukarno attacked Malaysia with the pretext of defending the residents of Sabah and Sarawak.

There were many conditions attached to the agreement none of the agreement that protects the interests of the residents of Sabah had been honoured.
