Hadith Allowing Universal Basic Income

Universal Basic Income is the giving of money to people without any condition attached to them. Of course, the aim is to help people overcome any hardship. On first impression, it is illogical and because it is the only hadith, it is dubious despite it from Bukhari which has the highest standard of authenticity but has a strict filtering system. If you study deeper, it is ingenious. It predicts the Universal Basic Income centuries before. It ensures fairness while effective in achieving the aim of removing living hardship. The giving to potential thieves and prostitutes has the potential of stopping these evil activities so no excuse to stop UBI just because of the problems in identifying the status of people. It is the idiocy of Singapore, of following a policy as though every citizen is a thief in not having an unemployment benefit, which led it to have high GINI. Giving to the rich is not a flaw because it allows the rich to enjoy the fruits of their efforts without spending extra o...

Hadis Against Giving to the Rich

Sunan an-Nasa'i  »  The Book of Zakah - كتاب الزكاة Sunan an-Nasa'i 2598 'Ubaidullah bin 'Adiyy bin Al-Khiyar narrated that: two  men  told him, that they came to the Messenger of Allah asking him for charity. He looked from one to the other and he saw that they were strong. The Messenger of Allah said: "If you want, I will give you, but no  rich  man or one who is strong and able to earn has a share of it."

Subsidy is the mother of all corruptions

That is why Sabil Party will strive to remove all subsidies to be replaced with cash handouts. https://www.files.ethz.ch/isn/102274/09_03_The_mother_of_all_corruption.pdf

Subsidies Paid by Malaysia

Image
https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/GC.XPN.TRFT.ZS?locations=MY Instead of subsidising prices of consumer items which will led to unfairness and wastage, we can give to all Malaysians. If we just give RM30 billion, with a population of 30 million, each person can get RM1,000 per year. A single person can get RM1,000 per year, but a family of 5 will get RM5,000 per year, thereby wiping out hard core poverty. Prices of items will increase but these cash handouts will surely compensate for them. If we just give those with salaries of below RM6,000 per month, assuming these are the B50, 15 million will get the cash handout. So a family of five can get RM10,000 per year, wiping out poverty, while taking into account the minimum pay of RM1,500 per month. A single person can get RM2,000 per year.

Removing Subsidies Help the Rich

If you remove subsidies, you can afford to reduce taxes. Those with enough income to be taxed, can therefore benefit by having their taxes reduced as a form of reducing the burden of inflation provided by the government. It is easier to pay also by just by reducing the amount of tax that the rich need to pay. The usual argument against removal of subsidies that it increases the cost of living but not offset by any cash transfer is not even proven, but just the feeling. Actual measurements of how much a rich person loses from the subsides compared to the amount that they get for their necessities, need to be taken. Those expenditures for their leasures should not be counted. Big cars that guzzle petrol should not be counted towards the reduction cost of living hardship. It was not a hardship to the rich any way, of owning big inefficient cars. The purpose of cash transfer to citizens is to reduce the burden of cost of living due to inflation but not to continue indulging the rich w...

Buddhist view of cash handouts to remove poverty

https://www.researchgate.net/publication/358878262_Buddhism_and_Poverty_Reduction_in_Sri_Lanka is written by W.Wimalaratana. It is an excellent article and review the market forces and planned economy. The conclusion of this article was: “ Buddhism emphasizes the supply of basic needs of life for all through economic activities and government intervention. Poverty is unacceptable to the Buddhist doctrine as it focuses on the well-being of everyone. ” Therefore, Buddhists are also concerned about poverty eradication. This article was writtenn in 2003 where market forces were respected and very little subsidies were implemented. “ Majorcomponents of the post 1977 reforms were liberalization, privatisation, and encouraging foreign direct investments, removing/discouraging of price controls and consumer/producer subsidies and encouraging the market to be the engine of economic growth.” The impact on the removal of subsidies and other planned economic mechanisms is interesting for...

Call for membership

Sabil Party  Sabil Party invites all those who share the same vision of the party to join the political party. Todate, the party is not formed yet and most likely will be rejected by ROS so we must expect to bring the ROS to court for violating the constitution and ask for damages. Parti Sabil main purpose is to remove subsidies and replace them with cash handouts . In the constitution of the party, the proposed purpose is just to copy the practises of advanced nations as long as they are not against the quran. The symbol of the party is the word Sabil in Quranic Amiri font. Sabil means "the way" so nothing religious about it but it is inspired by the Quran. This means that membership is open to all religions. The purpose of registering the party is to allow election candidates to use the party symbol in a united way, instead of using the random assigned symbols. If the candidates win the election, they are allowed and even encouraged to move parties and hopefully give the me...

Permohonan Fatwa Sabsidi dan Cukai

Image
Nampak macam Allah ara...

Request for Fatwa on Subsidy and Taxes

Image
Request for Fatwa on Subsidy and Taxes Subsidies Based on information from experts on economy and practices of advanced countries such as the UK and the EU, subsidies on consumer goods are detrimental to the local people because subsidies help foreigners more than locals viz its citizens give more assistance to the rich, encourage waste and not encouraging manufacturing mentality. The fact is that all the developed nations have already banned subsidies on consumer goods. The question is whether Islam allows subsidies because subsidies are not mentioned in the quran, only direct handouts. Surah Attaubat 9:60 , use “sedekah” in arabic. Charity for some categories, including Fisabilillah. Surah Yasin 36:47, use “infaq”, without mentioning to whom, meaning for everyone. The other half of the verse, not from Allah, but infidels questioning the giving of money to the poor. It looks as though Allah is directing Muslims to give to the poor only, but more accurate is to everyone fa...

Japanese Deflation was not bad

From the article: https://www.nber.org/system/files/working_papers/w12142/w12142.pdf 1. Introduction Japan’s economy has been stagnant more or less continuously for more than a decade (Japan’s so-called “Lost Decade”), and Japan’s growth rate during this period has been the lowest among the major industrialized countries of the world. During the 1995-2002 period, for example, the annualized growth rate of Japan’s real gross domestic product (GDP) averaged only 1.2%, which is lower than all of the other G7 countries—Canada (3.4%), the United States (3.2%), the United Kingdom (2.7%), France (2.3%), Italy (1.8%), and Germany (1.4%)--as well as the Euro area average (2.2%) and less than half of all of the other larger OECD countries—Korea (5.3%), Australia (3.8%), Spain (3.3%), the Netherlands (2.9%), and Mexico (2.6%)--as well as the OECD-wide average (2.7%).   The above figures are not adjusted for inflation. If inflation were taken into account, Japanese economy ...

stable gold backed currency which is proven to give growth and removes inflation

Image
Watch this video as to why even USA abandon's a stable gold backed currency which is proven to give growth and removes inflation. The reason is simple, to protect the rich. Which are the employers and property owners. With inflation, i.e. reduction in the value of currency, salaries of workers drop. It took a lot of efforts and so many excuses to get workers salaries up to date with inflation. For example, Malaysia vs Brunei and Singapore. Workers salaries used to be the same but due to devaluations of Malaysian RM, workers salaries is Malaysia is now only 20% of Singapore and Brunei and getting worse and worse, on the way to Venezuela. Actually, I just came to know how Venezuela survived, by using US dollars, not local currencies. But local businessmen do not like it. Read the article. The same happened to Zimbabwe. Zimbabweans do not use local currencies in their daily activities. The workers are paid in foreign currencies. Many economists complained about corruptions and other ...
