(4:17) (Allah accepts) the repentance from only those who commit evil in ignorance and then quickly turn to Him in repentance. Allah will relent towards them. Allah is Knowing, Wise. That is translated surah An Nisa ayat 17 (QS 4: 17) in arabic and english text, may be useful.[17]
Sesungguhnya penerimaan taubat itu disanggup oleh Allah hanya bagi orang-orang yang melakukan kejahatan disebabkan (sifat) kejahilan kemudian mereka segera bertaubat, maka (dengan adanya dua sebab itu) mereka diterima Allah taubatnya; dan (ingatlah) Allah Maha Mengetahui, lagi Maha Bijaksana.

No contradiction with An Nisa 17. Allah stated his wills as to only forgive those who are not intentionally committing sins.
